SERVICING OPTIONS
3 levels of servicing, dependant on the use, age and condition of your bike

HEALTH CHECK £35

Function and safety check of all components to ensure your bike is operating efficiently and most importantly, safely.

  • Brake system checked for operation and wear

  • Gears checked for operation/smooth running

  • Headset checked for play

  • Hubs checked for play

  • Wheels & Tyres checked for wear/damage. Tyres inflated to correct pressures.

  • All nuts and bolts checked for correct torque

 

A base level service recommended as a minimum if you've bought your bike second hand, online or if it's been stored for a while.

Note: You will be advised of any remedial work identified through this "Check", such as brake adjustments  or chain replacement. Additional work agreed will be charged as per the Workshop & Repair pricing menu.

GENERAL SERVICE £60

This main service will keep your bike running as you need it to and includes;

  • Check of general bike condition, frame, tyres

  • Brakes* - checked, cleaned and adjusted. Pads/blocks replaced if needed

  • Full Drivetrain - checked and adjusted

  • Gears tuned/re indexed

  • Hubs - checked & adjusted for play

  • Bottom Bracket - checked for wear 

  • Headset - checked & adjusted for play

  • Wheels - checked & trued

  • Cables* -  checked for wear and smooth operation

If additional work is required, such as replacing a chain, cable or other parts this will be done at a discounted rate to the Workshop & Repair pricing menu  .

  • Other than an Air Pressure and a general condition check, Suspension service is not included in the General Service as it can be a lengthy process;

All dismantled parts will be cleaned and lubricated/greased to reduce wear and protect/increase life of the part.

Dependent on your mileage and riding conditions, it's recommended that servicing is undertaken annually or bi-annually.

​

NOTE  *Hydraulic brake bleeding takes some time and is charged from £25 extra per brake including the appropriate Mineral or DOT brake fluid.​

*Internally routed cables can be tricky and time consuming so attract an extra charge up to £12 per cable.

OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE £120

This top level service will give you that "new bike" feeling by going in deep!

In addition to "General Service" 

  • Complete strip down to bare frame level

  • Each Part and Component separately serviced

  • Rebuild with full lubrication and re grease regime

  • Cables replaced - inners/outers

  • Wheels trued, spoke tensions checked

  • Detailed whole bike clean.

Regular service for high mileage bikes that get caught in all weathers. Recommended every 2 years for all other bikes.

​

NOTE  *Hydraulic brake bleeding takes some time is charged from £25 extra per brake including the appropriate Mineral or DOT brake fluid.​

Likewise, internally routed cables can be tricky and time consuming so attract an extra charge up to £12 per cable.

**Service Pricing covers labour only**

Best value quality parts will be sourced to keep costs reasonable.

Customer requested parts/brands will be sourced as economically as possible.

A charge will be made for bikes that require cleaning before a service can be undertaken.

You will be contacted to discuss major work/part replacement beforehand.
